Vincent Michael's "The Didgeridoo" is an excellent guide for those wishing to learn to play the instrument, and even includes a cd. I love the sound of the instrument (especially when played by a skilled musician), but when I play it, it sound more like a fog horn. Try as I might, I cannot perfect the art of circular breathing. I've tried using the straw and water glass method of practicing, but all I ever accomplish with that is blowing a bunch of bubbles.
My mother is better with the instrument than I am and is able to use some of the techniques discussed in this book, while I am sitting on the other side of the room warning people that a ship might be coming in.
