Sara Flutterbye and the Spooky Woods
I won a copy of this book from the Goodreads website. It's written by John Hallis and illustrated by Natalie Krug. It's another book geared to younger audiences, but I still enjoyed it. It is quite unique, something that is lacking in a lot of books written for younger readers these days. The illustrations are quite cute as well.
Parents of younger and/or squeamish children may want to proof it before reading it aloud to their kids, though. (Wouldn't want kids cowering in the corner afraid that the Boogey Man was going to come and take them to their swamp kitchen). This could be an especially fun read for families on camping trips!!!
