I picked up my Mom's copy of Michael Buckley's "Raging Sea" that she won from a Goodreads giveaway out of curiosity. Whereas my curiosity was initially piqued by the cover (which I love), I became more intrigued after reading the back of the book.
I was a bit lost as I have not read the preceding "Undertow" novel, but Fathom and Lyric are both interesting characters and the plotline is quite compelling as well. I will definitely have to pick up the previous novel so that I get a better gist of what is going on and hopefully the next will be out by the time I finish the two, as this one is a cliff-hanger.
