Whether seeking employment in welding or just looking to get training for hobby purposes, Careers in Welding ( http://careersinwelding.com/ ) is a very useful site. There is information on training and scholarship opportunities, events, videos, profiles, etc.
There is even a place to request additional information related to welding, including a magazine, a comic featuring Marvel's Iron Man and three DVDs - Cool Careers, Students in Welding and Women in Welding. The website is from the American Welding Society and Weld-Ed Center (Funded in part by NSF Advanced Technological Education Program).
I highly recommend this site to anyone with an interest in welding; I requested information from them and found it to be incredibly informative and useful.
